Medical Device Shielding

Many common medical devices require shielding to protect them from Electromagnetic Interference and/or Radio Frequency Interference. These types of interference can be disruptive to electrical components within the device, and outside of the device, potentially causing malfunctions and inaccurate readings. Because it is so critical that these life sustaining machines work correctly we have developed multiple coating solutions to protect against Electromagnetic Interference and Radio Frequency Interference.

Our standard coatings start at conductivity rating of 1Ω / in² . This coating provides ample protection for most devices, but for highly sensitive devices we offer coatings that can achieve readings as low as 0.01Ω / in².

Along with specifications for functionality, most medical device programs have strict requirements for quality control and record retention. Each step of our processing is fully documented and detailed records are kept on each process lot to ensure traceability.
